Alan Brooks, Lead Pastor
Alan & his wife Lisa have been married for 28yrs and have two adult sons. They both became devoted followers of Jesus through the ministry of Skip Heitzig & Calvary Chapel. Alan has a Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling and served as the Children's Pastor for Calvary Chapel for 12yrs before founding NewLife church. His favorite movie is "Les Miserables" because he loves the story of redemption and changed lives. In his personal time he likes reading & hiking...just not the same time. One of the things he likes most about NewLife, is the genuine love that the people seek to express to one another.
Matt Dotson, Celebrations Pastor
Matt was born in Santa Fe, NM and became a devoted follower of Jesus in 2011. His favorite movie is the Passion of the Christ and favorite book is "Multiply." He absolutely loves his mother's Mexican food...what he calls "soul" food. What he loves about NewLife church is it's where his family has found a real home among one of the most friendly and encouraging group of Christ followers he's ever known.
Jenni Beadle, Children's Director
Jenni has been a devoted follower of Jesus for almost 20 years and involved in Children’s Ministry for 12 years. She obtained her Children’s Ministry Diploma in 2016. She has a great passion for Christ and genuine heart for His children. She desires to reach and teach our future disciples though fun faith filled church for kids! She loves to walk, read, play board games and spend time with her grandkids. She is honored to be a part of God's work at NewLife because of the Biblical teachings, the love shared and outreach of leading others to Christ
Lauren Garcia, Administrator
Lauren is a native New Mexican which explains her love for all things CHILE! She is a wife and mom to three young children. Lauren became a devoted follower of Jesus in 2014 and found her way back to her parents home church at NewLife. "This is where I belong, these people, they're family."
Becky Green, Admin Assistant
Becky and her husband, Kevin moved to New Mexico in 1993 which makes them semi-natives. They have 3 children and 4 grandkids. After growing up in a small church in California and attending a mega church in Albuquerque, a friend invited them to the 2008 Easter celebration and they have been a part of NewLife ever since. Becky's people personality always has a quick smile at the ready so be prepared for her to greet you!
Brandon Romero, Pastor
Brandon was born in Amarillo, Texas and became a devoted follower of Christ in 2004. His favorite movies are Braveheart and Lonesome Dove. His favorite food is Hispanic. He likes being a part of New Life because of the Biblical foundation, that the message is unadulterated and comes straight from the word of God not the mind of a man. In addition he believes the people are genuinely caring and that our shepherd is transparent.
Eric Bullock, Pastor
Eric's is a third generation New Mexican, his grandfather and French "war bride" grandmother moved here shortly after WWII and settled in the Raton area. He and his lovely wife Alisa have twin children, Zach and Sara. Eric has worked at the same tech company for over 25 years, but feels a strong calling to Pastoral ministry, graduating from Cross Christian Shepherd School in 2018. After graduating from ministry school, he and his wife felt God telling them to come to New Life Church. Eric serves as an Elder, he and his wife also lead the High School Ministry.
Victor Tafoya, Pastor
Victor and his high school sweetheart, Barbara have been married since 1980. They have raised two wonderful children and have two grandchildren who remind them just how loving the Lord is to us. Victor came to faith after almost coming to blows with a friend who would not stop inviting him to know Jesus. He started attending Calvary Chapel ABQ and then attended the Calvary School of Ministry and Calvary Shepherd School for Pastors.
Victor has a passion for many things, His Lord Jesus of course but he has also given him a passion for anything chocolate. He's an avid sports fan and has been a fan of UNM all of his life.
